How to become a WHIDE Driver-Partner?

This is a time of digitalization and automation, so WHIDE on boarding process is. You need to register on WHIDE partner mobile app – upload your vehicle documents and picture - upload your KYC details – select your rate preference – select your subscription plan - go online. WHIDE will verify your uploaded documents in the next 7 days, you can take booking from day one.

What are the qualifications of a WHIDE driver?

Have Valid Driving License
Be an Owner or Authorised User of vehicle with service records
Must have No Criminal Record

What are the possibilities for you in WHIDE?

You can take a ride, work as a driver for a customer car, rent out your car in self-drive mode. Delivery parcel, food, valuable items etc.

What is the commission structure of WHIDE?

Our motto is: “One Mission No Commission”. We are not charging any commission from our driver partner. You need to pay a monthly fixed subscription cost for using of WHIDE platform.

What type of vehicles do you accept?

We have 7 categories that your vehicle can be accepted into: XS, Small, Medium, Premium, SUV, Luxury, and Bike.

What age vehicles do you accept?

We accept any vehicle that is under 10 years old.

How long can I drive in a day?

You can drive your car as much as you want.

How to get customers?

We believe in transparency. On the WHIDE App, customers and drivers can contact each other, add customers and drivers in each other’s favourite list. You need to serve your customer in the best possible way so that they can add you to their Trusted Drivers List and give you repeated orders.

How do I carry out induction and training?

Once you register with us, we will share app-based introductory information in easy-to-read form, and WhatsApp video training materials.

How to get payment from a customer?

You can take direct payment from the customer by cash/Paytm/UPI as per your readiness. Else the customer can pay through WHIDE payment gateway and the same can be transferred to you on a weekly basis, after deducting payment gateway handling charges. We won’t be deducting any commission whatsoever!

Is there any online support?

What is Bolt?

Bolt is a unique and proprietary point system design by WHIDE. You can earn bolt points by giving rides, adding customers, referring a new driver etc. You can use the bolt points in different ways – for your car wash, fuel station, car décor etc.

How does WHIDE work?

WHIDE is an app-based service that lets users 'hire' trusted and known drivers, who in turn, solve last mile access problems of the users. As a customer, you can avail multi-fold services from their driver like hiring a cab, driving your own car, self-drive car, food delivery from favourite restaurants, send or bring parcel from friends and family.

What all can you do with the WHIDE app?

You can take a quick ride, rent a car, outstation trip, not only that in WHIDE you can send and receive anything from anywhere with your trusted driver partner. You can also do offline shopping, order food from an outlet, order your grocery and medicines, or transfer anything from anywhere as a parcel.

How can I download the WHIDE app?

WHIDE mobile app is available on app store and play store download the WHIDE app- Register yourself and you are ready to take “trusted” rides and place your orders.

Do I have to register as a client on this website before I can order?

Yes, you need to register in WHIDE app to place any order.

How do I register myself in WHIDE?

To use our services, you need to sign-up with a single step. Just provide your mobile number and verify it, you are ready to explore WHIDE range of possibilities.

What is the benefit of creating my profile?

Being a WHIDE user you can always avail services without updating your complete profile. A user can update his/her profile any time from the settings menu. An updated profile will help us to understand you better and arrange preferential service to you.

What modes of payment are acceptable - using WHIDE?

We make it simple, hassle free and scalable. You can pay through cash, cards, UPI, wallet – almost all online and offline payment modes available.

How do I apply a coupon?

You can find all your personalised offers and coupons by scrolling down on your WHIDE app’s home screen. They’ll be automatically available for use when you click ‘Apply Coupon’ while making a booking. Simply select from the coupons applicable to your ride and it’ll be automatically applied to your ride. Alternatively, you can feed a code manually to avail the offer. At the end of the trip, you can check the discount applied to your total fare in the invoice sent to your registered email ID.

What is the WHIDE Refer & Earn programme?

“Refer & Earn” is WHIDE’s referral program. It allows you to earn a bonus when you successfully introduce friends and family to WHIDE. All you need to do is to share your unique referral code with others. When they sign up to WHIDE using your code and take their first ride, you’ll receive a bonus. You can use bonuses earned towards rides with WHIDE. There’s no limit to how often you can earn a referral bonus. You’ll find your referral code under ‘Refer & Earn’ in the app.

Why can’t I see my referral code?

You can find your unique referral code under ‘Refer & Earn’ in the WHIDE app. If you can’t see your referral code in ‘Refer & Earn,’ it may be because: 1. You’re not eligible for WHIDE’s referral program
2. You’re using an older version of the WHIDE app
3. You’ve created multiple accounts on the same device
4. You’re signed in to your WHIDE account from multiple devices. We recommend updating the WHIDE app to download the latest version or sign out of your WHIDE account (if you’re signed in on multiple devices) in order to access your referral code.

What choices of ride are there?

Economy: Quality assured, private hire vehicles for up to 4 people
Premium: Larger, quality assured, private hire vehicles for up to 6 people
Executive: Premium quality assured, private hire vehicles for up to 4 people

How do I book a ride with WHIDE?

Booking a ride with your WHIDE app is easy.
1. Select the ‘RIDE’ option (please make sure your phone’s GPS is turned on)
2. Set up your pick-up and drop-off locations
3. Choose the ride type you want
4. Confirm your booking. That’s it, your ride is booked. We’ll send your booking confirmation to your app screen
You’ll be able to view your ride details, your ride location on the map, and check how long your driver will take to pick you up on the ‘Pick-up Arriving’ screen.

How do I assign a SHOP Job/Task (offline shopping) via the WHIDE app?

This is a unique feature on the WHIDE app, introduced for the first time in India. Below are the simple steps:
1. Select the ‘SHOP’ option (please make sure your phone’s GPS is turned on)
2. Set up your delivery location
3. Look for a store in the city and choose the item you want to purchase
4. Select the delivery speed of your choice and the time slot as per your convenience
5. Confirm your booking. That’s it, your shopping item is booked for purchase and delivery. We’ll send your booking confirmation to your app screen
You’ll be able to view your shopping item’s live details, the dispatcher’s location on the map, and check how long it will take them to pick your order and deliver it to you on the ‘Shopping Item Arriving’ screen.

How do I assign ANYTHING Job/Task (parcel delivery) via the WHIDE app?

This is a unique feature on the WHIDE app, introduced for the first time in India. Below are the simple steps:
1. Select the ‘ANYTHING’ option (please make sure your phone’s GPS is turned on)
2. Set up your pick-up and drop-off locations
3. Provide the details of the item to be picked up and delivered
4. Select the delivery speed of your choice and the time slot as per your convenience
5. Confirm your booking. That’s it, your parcel is booked for pickup and delivery. We’ll send your booking confirmation to your app screen
You’ll be able to view your parcel’s live details, the dispatcher’s location on the map, and check how long it will take them to pick it up and deliver it to the drop-destination on the ‘Parcel Arriving’ screen.

Can I order from 2 or more restaurants at the same time?

Yes.

Can I assign multiple tasks simultaneously?

You can create multiple tasks for their driver to do from anywhere with the WHIDE app. They can also ask his/her trusted driver to pick kids or a ride for parents, book a ride with a known driver at an unknown place.

How do I share my ride details with friends and family?

To share your ride details, tap the ‘Share Details’ button available on the ‘Track Ride’ screen. We’ll send an SMS to your pre-set emergency contacts with a link to track your ride.

How do I track my ride?

You can track your ride once your booking is confirmed. You’ll be able to see your ride’s location on the map and the time it takes for the driver to pick you up. You can also track your ride from the ‘Your Rides’ section in your WHIDE app menu. All you need to do is to select your upcoming ride and tap ‘Track Ride’.

How does WHIDE charge you?

There is no charge from you nor any commission from driver-partners and dispatchers. WHIDE is a subscription-based platform which drivers need to pay for.

How do I check the fare before my ride starts?

Enter the drop location and choose the ride category to check the estimated total fare for your ride. Please note, the estimated total fare for your ride may vary due to traffic conditions or any variation in distance travelled.

How do I check the fare for a ride category?

Double-tap the ride category icon (XS/Small/Medium/Premium/SUV/Luxury/Bike) in the WHIDE app to find out the per-mile charge of that category.

Till what time-duration there’s no Cancellation Fee?

We strive to provide you the best ride. But, if you decide you don’t want it, you can cancel your ride within 2 minutes of a driver accepting your ride, to avoid being charged a cancellation fee. Also, if the driver has reached your pickup location and waited for more than 8 mins for your arrival before cancelling the ride, you will be charged a cancellation fee to compensate for the driver’s efforts.

What’s the Cancellation Fee for a Ride that I cancel?

Cancellation fee of INR 20 will be charged if you cancel the ride after 2 minutes.

How do I dispute a cancellation fee?

If you think you’ve been wrongly charged a cancellation fee, we would be happy to help. Click ‘Your Rides’ in the WHIDE app menu and follow the steps below:
1. Select the disputed ride
2. Tap the ‘Support’ button
3. Select ‘Charged Cancellation Fee Incorrectly’ from the listed issues
4. Tell us more about your problem and click send. We’ll look into it and get back to you as soon as possible

What is WHIDE SecureCode (wCODE)?

WHIDE code is a 5-digit alphanumeric system generated unique code. Every customer on the WHIDE platform has a unique WHIDE code identity. The same system is in place for driver-partners and dispatchers.

What is the use of WHIDE SecureCode?

You can know, add your trusted driver by using their wCode. wCode is useful to track your bookings as well.

What are the safety features built into the WHIDE app?

  1. You can track your ride in real-time and share your destination and ETA with friends.
  2. Each ride requires you to share a ‘Start Code’ with your driver to ensure you’re getting in the right car.
  3. We have 24/7 in-app and telephone support.
  4. We always mask your mobile number from our drivers to ensure privacy.
  5. In the unlikely event that something does happen, we have an emergency button where you can alert the police, as well as WHIDE’s safety response team.

What COVID-19 safety norms do we follow?

We have strong measures in place to help keep you safe. In response to the global pandemic, we’ve also introduced five mandatory safety procedures for our driver-partners, dispatchers and customers:
1. Always wear a face covering
2. Expect a clean ride before and after your trip
3. Carry and use hand sanitiser before and after the ride
4. Roll down the windows if desired. Or, ask the driver to switch on the AC and set it not to recirculate, but extract
5. Please sit in the back, and use the left backseat for social distancing when travelling solo

What Driver Safety Standards WHIDE has in place?

Our partners are thoroughly background-checked before joining WHIDE to drive. They are then assessed on Safety, Reliability and Customer Service before they are given the green signal. As WHIDE driver-partners, they observe the same five precautionary measures of safety as you do, listed above and will ask you to sit in the back.
